On Christmas Eve 2006, three-year old Jackie was diagnosed with leukemia (AML), an adult form of leukemia not commonly seen in children. Jackie conquered cancer and finished treatment in August 2007. Sadly, Jackie’s stubborn disease returned in February 2008, worse than ever. Jackie, once again, was in the battle for her life ultimately needing a bone marrow transplant to survive. There were no suitable donors on the registry for her. If not for an unrelated cord blood donation she would have died. In December 2014, Jackie was diagnosed with cancer for the 3rd time, thyroid cancer. Holiday Stocking Drive - Deliver holiday smiles to sick and impoverished children with special focus on children suffering from a childhood cancer
Provide financial support to qualified applicants with special consideration to those suffering from a childhood cancer diagnosis. Provide relief for the poor by working with local food pantries
Create awareness of Childhood Cancer while increasing the number of donors on the Bone Marrow Registry
